CUSTOM WEDDING FAQ

  • When should I order my save the date cards?

We generally advise our clients to mail save the date cards 6-8 months before your event but occasionally we suggest 10-12 months if most guests will be traveling by air. This being said, if you are ordering a custom save the date card from us, we recommend starting the process 2 months before cards need to be mailed in order to allow enough time for design, revisions and printing.

  • When should I order my wedding suite?

Typically wedding suites are mailed 6-8 weeks before the wedding date. Our custom design process and printing takes anywhere from 7-9 weeks depending on the finishing processes involved. For example, letterpress, foil, and die cutting all require a longer time frame to execute.

  • Do you assemble and mail for me?

Every custom order is hand assembled in house before getting mailed to you. If you would like us to seal and mail invitations directly to guests for you, just let us know and we can add that service on at an additional cost.

  • How many invitations should I order?

Remember to count your invitations by household and not by individual guest. We recommend ordering 10-15% more than this number in case you have any last minute additions. Plus you will want a clean copy for your photographer and a keepsake or two for yourself!

  • Can I see samples of your work in person?

Our studio is based in Los Angeles, and we do offer in person consultations if you are local. Otherwise, we are happy to send you samples of past work once we have started the custom process.

  • Do you offer day-of wedding goods and signage?

Yes, but these items are only offered to clients who have also ordered wedding invitations with us. We like to ensure your event has a cohesive look from start to finish!
